Prior to establishing West PLC, Brad worked for over 16 years as a certified
public accountant and a corporate and securities lawyer, primarily with
the world's largest public accounting and law firms. In April 2000, Brad
left the large firm environment to partner with a production homebuilder
to develop a web-based, integrated, cross-corporate ERP and CRM
software application for the production homebuilding industry. The scarcity
of start-up capital at the time made it difficult to achieve success in the new
venture, but Brad stayed on the entrepreneurial track and established
West PLC rather than return to the large firm environment. West PLC is
built upon Brad's public accounting and corporate and securities legal
experience, summarized as follows: From 1996 to 2000, Brad was a partner
of Lowndes, Drosdick, Doster, Kantor and Reed, P.A., a law firm in Orlando,
Fl. with over 100 lawyers. Brad developed the firm's corporate finance
practice, and in the process completed: restaurant franchise loan
securitization transactions as originator's counsel; domestic and
international venture capital transactions as issuer's counsel; domestic
and international private placements as issuer's counsel; Triple A rated
Rule 144A bond offering as issuer's counsel; organized a commercial
paper conduit; and completed numerous strategic alliances and mergers
and acquisitions . From 1992 to 1996, Brad was a corporate and securities
attorney at Greenberg Traurig in Miami, Fl. Brad completed numerous IPO's
as issuer's counsel and as underwriters' counsel; public company SEC
compliance, corporate governance and internal investigations; and mergers
and acquisitions for public companies and private equity firms. From 1990
to 1992, Brad was a senior manager of KPMG in Miami, Fl. Brad handled
federal corporate income tax compliance, controversy and planning matters,
primarily for banks and savings and loans. From 1988 to 1990, Brad was
a corporate and securities attorney for Morgan, Lewis and Bockius in
Miami, Fl. Brad completed public company mergers and acquisitions,
public company anti-takeover measures, and public company SEC
compliance, corporate governance and internal investigations. From 1983
to 1988, Brad was a CPA working in the audit and tax departments of
KPMG in Miami, Fl, providing audit and tax services primarily to
publicly-traded companies. Brad graduated from the University of Miami
School of Law, J. D., Cum Laude, Order of the Coif, in 1988, and was
admitted to Florida Bar in 1988. Brad graduated from Florida State
University, B. S. Accounting, in 1983.
